Partially Lit

There are certain shoots that I set out with one thing in mind: to capture as little light on the sensor as possible.   I often do this by going into mountainous and wooded areas where only slivers of light make it through the tall growth and then I shoot in shutter priority mode to obtain the darkest image I can possibly attain with any amount of detail remaining.    After that, post processing to make this type of image is a snap.   I hope that you’re enjoying the experimentation.
