View From The Car Seat (Installment 1)

I have recently featured the photography of my son here in a post entitled “Perspective”.     I thought that I had done so before that but I was unable to find anything else and the only thing that I can think of is that it was likely in a previous incarnation of this blog that didn’t make it onto this one when I “recreated” it. What a shame.

I have recently mentioned this; on a lot of my shoots, I take my son with me. He is three, almost four years old.   For Easter this year, I bought him a little Vivitar point and shoot and he is a shutter fly. It’s click, click, click the whole time the camera is in his hands and often while he’s sitting in his car seat in the back of the truck.

So with that in mind, I thought it would be fun to start a couple of series’ here on his photography and this will be the first.  You guessed it, we’re heading out to a location.

  1. Awesome Mike! Nothin’ like having an avid follower of your career path, and it only gets better when they’re in the car with you! This is great, my friend, I really enjoy this. You know, the composition on this shot is pretty much perfect.

    • He’s actually quite good at times. Of course, I have to sift through a lot of pictures of fingers and toes to find the good ones. 😀 What I like best is that it is something that we can do together and it is productive and educational for both of us.
