Thank you very much Frank. I shot this at 60mm f/4.5 with a 1/4 second exposure and an ISO setting of 1600. I figured the higher ISO was going to be okay because any noise would likely be covered by the snow. In the end though, there was very little noise and I was extremely happy about that. I was actually out driving around at 3:00 in the morning; just me and plows. I shot it from inside of my car using the bend in the drivers side window and the upraised window as a make-shift tripod. I shot this one pretty much the same way!!
This is amazing, Mike. How long was the exposure…and how did you make this photo in the snow…where you under an umbrella or an overhanging roof??
